Integrated Survival CurveAn integrated survival curve is a customary survival curve where in addition the live state is partitioned into distinct components. It tracks the subsequent states of a cohort of persons in a given state at time 0. For example, in the graph below, all (100%) of the persons are in state A (red) at time 0 (here, age 5). In subsequent time of 5 years, 55% have died (black). That is, by age 10, only 45% are alive: 16% are still in state A (red), 6% are in state B (blue), 8% are in state C (green) and 15% are in state D (yellow). |
